Terms of service
The agreement between you and Shutterflow, in plain English.
These terms are a draft and are being reviewed before Shutterflow opens to paying customers.
The service
Shutterflow is software for running a photography studio: enquiries, clients, jobs, proposals, contracts, questionnaires, invoices and client payments. These terms cover your use of the Shutterflow app and this website.
Your account
You need an account to use Shutterflow. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and make sure the people you invite to your studio follow these terms too. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
Plans and billing
- The free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the pricing page.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe, and renew each month until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you've paid for.
- We'll tell you at least 30 days before we change the price of your plan.
Payments from your clients
Your clients pay you through your own Stripe account. That payment is between you, your client and Stripe, under Stripe's terms. Shutterflow doesn't hold your money and takes no share of it.
Your content and your clients
You own everything you put into Shutterflow, including your templates and contracts. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run the service for you. You're responsible for the content of your documents — including whether your contracts suit your business and your jurisdiction — and for having a proper basis to collect your clients' information.
Fair use
Don't use Shutterflow to break the law, send spam, harm other people or try to get into another studio's data. We can suspend an account that does.
Availability
We work to keep Shutterflow running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable. We'll give notice before planned changes that affect how you use it.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, and to the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Shutterflow and delete your studio at any time. If we ever close Shutterflow, we'll give you notice and a way to export your data first.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email before the change takes effect.
